"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” — {1 Chronicles 16:11}. We begin by turning our eyes away from distractions and fixing them on God. Hearing Him starts with seeking His presence intentionally.
"Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live.” —{Isaiah 55:3}. Listening requires an attentive posture. We must lean in, quieting the noise of the world, so our hearts are ready to receive His word.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — {2 Timothy 3:16}. God speaks most clearly through His Word. By studying it diligently, we align our thoughts with His truth.
"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” — {John 16:13}. The Spirit helps us discern God’s voice, bringing Scripture to life and applying it to our situations.
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” — {Jeremiah 33:3}. Prayer is both speaking and listening. Through it, we enter into dialogue with God, allowing Him to impress His will upon our hearts.
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” — {James 1:22}. True listening is completed in obedience. When we notice God’s prompting and act on it, we demonstrate trust and faith.
Every participant will receive a beautifully designed digital e-journal to walk alongside the challenge.
Purpose: This journal is more than notes—it’s a sacred space to document your spiritual growth, track God’s voice, and celebrate how He speaks to you personally. You’ll also be able to revisit it during the L.I.S.T.E.N. Bible Study launching in mid-November 2025.
